The Western Alliance for Reclamation Management (WARM) is hiring an Americorps Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA).  Here’s a bit more about the position including how to apply, and I appreciate anything you can do to share this opportunity:

Join the Western Alliance for Reclamation Management (WARM) as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and play a vital role in advancing mine reclamation efforts that restore lands and protect water resources. Based at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO, this one-year position begins on May 5 and focuses on capacity-building initiatives, including fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development. You'll also help coordinate a hands-on summer mine reclamation field course in Durango, CO, collaborating with universities, industry leaders, nonprofits, and government agencies. This role offers a unique opportunity to support workforce development in the reclamation field while contributing to real-world environmental solutions. Benefits include a living allowance, health coverage, and an education award or end-of-service stipend. The ENVS Network documents people, organizations, and projects involved with the Clark School. Each year, Master in Environment Management students complete a 600 hour project, connecting people and organizations worldwide.
